Oh, in case you were wondering, we are in TOTAL DENIAL that there are 2 other floors of the house that need work! We want to do the main floor next year after we get a better feel for where we want to build a new kitchen.
HALLELUJAH the Floors are DONE!
We bought this place 13 weeks and 1 day ago. At that time we were SURE it would be 6 weeks till the upstairs was ready. The house has TOTALLY MOCKED our timeline, but we are so excited to have the BIG projects DONE for the upstairs. We still have tons of little projects, but it is livable! Tait spent forever sanding the 116 year old hardwood then sealing it. We are thrilled with the color of the floors and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the battle worn look of hardwood that was installed in 1895.
