We took some giant fixtures from an out of business retail store and turned them into yard-art. We did it to block the view of the beautiful power lines behind our house (and b/c it is fun). We planted 6 different grapevines in front and they will supposedly grow 20 to 25 feet EACH next year. Right now these little vines look quite pitiful in front of the "Shining Towers of Shining-ness" (the yard-art's name) but it will be neato in the summer.
Next summer we should have all our trees, shrubs, and vines fruiting. That will be 6 grape vines, 3 raspberry bushes (black, red, and gold), 2 strawberry plants, 2 apples trees, and a partridge in a pear tree!
